The Bachelor of Arts in Music prepares you to envision professional outcomes that encompass the areas of performance, composition, and arts technology.
As a music major at 91制片厂 State University, you can choose from two emphasis options, performance and arts technology. With a performance emphasis, you will focus on your instrument/voice and perform in ensembles while taking individual lessons with our world-renowned faculty members. In arts technology, you鈥檒l earn an interdisciplinary degree in digital sound design/music, technical theater, and digital art design.
Performance and ensemble opportunities at NSU are numerous. You can join the concert choir, chamber singers, Aberdeen university/civic symphony, symphonic band, university/concert band, marching band, jazz ensemble, vocal jazz ensemble, and opera scenes. You'll also find opportunities to participate in NSU's woodwind, brass, percussion, and chamber music ensembles as well as perform a senior recital/capstone project. 91制片厂 is a fully accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
