The South Dakota Board of Regents establishes tuition rates for all South Dakota public universities. The 2025-2026 tuition rate for active-duty service members attending 91ÖÆƬ³§ State University courses are:
On-Campus Resident
Undergraduate: $261.20 plus fees
Graduate: $342.90 plus fees
On-Campus Non-Resident
Undergraduate: $367.60 plus fees
Graduate: $640.20 plus fees
Off-Campus/Online
(no additional fees or out-of-state differential)
Undergraduate: $365.05
Graduate: $484.10
US Department of Veteran Affairs Education Benefits
- Service members with unused Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits may transfer education benefits to a dependent spouse or dependent children.
- Dependent spouses/children must complete and submit this U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs application to received transferred education benefits.
– Personalized Career Planning and Guidance (PCPG), or VA Chapter 36, offers free educational and career guidance, planning, and resources to veterans and their dependents who are eligible for a VA education benefit.
