ABERDEEN, S.D. – faculty members were among the co-authors of a recent scholarly blog piece and journal article based on their research surrounding mandatory reporting.

The article, “,” was published in the journal, . The study was conducted by Dr. Franne Sippel of Aberdeen’s 91Ƭ Plains Psychological Associates, and Drs. Karyl Meister and Jeff Howard of NSU.
    
Sippel and Meister also co-authored a blog piece, titled “.” The piece appeared on , a national think tank for child protection.

Howard is Associate Professor of Psychology at NSU, Meister is Adjunct Professor of Counselor Education at NSU, and Sippel is a Licensed Psychologist and co-owner of 91Ƭ Plains Psychological Associates.
